Today I'm sharing another spread in my 2017 Project Life Album. I'm more than half way caught up with this book and I couldn't be happier. This week I used a Citrus Twist Kits kit and got a lot more stamping in.
This was a fun week to document because my daughter finally learned how to ride her bike. This was a big deal for her. She's always had a little trouble with bike riding because she's so tall for her age and finding a bike that was appropriate for her physical size as well as her motor skills wasn't easy. We finally figured it out when we got her a bike that was the right size and just removed the pedals. Once she had balance figured out she was ready to add the pedals back on. I wasn't home when the big moment happened but thankfully my husband captured the moment on video. Of course I had to add it into the book!
I love adding video to my scrapbooks. Here's how I do it:
I upload the video to Vimeo
I copy the embedded link and open up QR Code Generator
Add the copied link and download the JPEG
It's really that easy!
I had fun with stamping and I don't know why I don't do more of it in my layouts. Oh wait, I know why. I'm lazy. How ridiculous. I hope after putting this layout together I'll remember just how fun stamping is and how it can totally transform a spread.
I really love how this layout came together and that I was able to take a November kit full of gratitude and fall themed bits and still create a late summer spread. As of right now (5/13) the November 2019 Gratitude kit is still available and ON SALE. Go grab your own!
Here's a look at how this layout came together:
Are you including videos in your scrapbooks? Leave a comment and share your tips and tricks!
Take care!
