This class is an introduction to wood burning, also known as pyrography. You will learn how to use basic wood burning tools to create a one of a kind serving platter/cutting board.
First you'll learn how to use the pen-like burning tool and practice on wood blocks before moving onto your masterpiece. Next you'll begin etching a custom template onto a 17x11 premium beech wood cutting board, creating a one-of-a-kind chopping block or serving piece.
