cancellation + refunds
Host cancellation - if a host cancels prior to 72 hours before the scheduled event, Craft Social will offer full refunds to all paid registered guests. If the cancellation is received less than 72 hours prior to the event, the host will not receive a refund, however the paid registered guest will. If the host has taken responsibility for all participant fees (ie. birthday parties, etc.) the same cancellation policy applies.
Guest cancellation - if a guest cancels prior to 72 hours by notifying Craft Social, a full refund will be issued. If cancellation is received less than 72 hours prior or they simply do not show up, no refund is provided.
Why? Craft Social events take an awful lot of pre-planning, supply shopping and ordering, preparing for the event and often paying an instructor. We are a small business and simply cannot absorb these costs.
In all fairness, we are unable to make exceptions to our policy including for reasons of illness, travel, or other unexpected situations.
Craft Social reserves the right to cancel events at any time due to inclement weather. In the event Craft Social cancels an event, guests will be issued a full refund.
communication + photography
Craft Social staff may take photographs or videos of event participants, as individuals or in groups, and participants projects. These photos and videos may appear in future publications, such as social media, website, newsletter, or other publicity. Attendees consent to having their photograph taken or such videos shown and used for such purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed or videotaped, please notify us to that effect.
By registering for any workshop, class, or event, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Craft Social, its instructors, managers, volunteers, and any other people officially connected with the event from and against any and all claims for personal injuries or damages of any kind arising from your participation.
